Person Centered Art Therapy

Using Art to express your emotions can be a good way of improving your psychological well being, particularly if you have experienced a loss or trauma that can leave you feeling low in mood, depressed or stuck in negative thought patterns and behaviors. This is known as Person Centered Art Therapy.

Expression

As an experienced Person Centered Counsellor Samantha Earnshaw will support you to freely express yourself using Art, and will work with you to use your Art making to begin to process and make sense of thoughts and feelings that may be causing you difficulties. This process is not reliant on verbal communication, you do not need any skill in art and your art work will not be analysed. Your relationship with the Counsellor and with the art materials will offer a means of communication as you safely express and explore your difficult thoughts and feelings.
